When I opened the Spotify app on my iPhone it said that Spotify was postponed because the payment request had failed. I went into manage subscription and changed payment to come from my Bank account rather than via T-mobile. Received receipt for payment, went back to open the app but the same message remains and I cannot get rid of that screen. Should I remove the app and download it again?

I'm going through a trial period. And in the settings I do not want the opportunity to pay Spotify Premium for the whole year. But when I registered 3 weeks ago, such an opportunity was. I don't know what helped, but I clicked the green "get premium" button on the main page not in settings and there was a "view more offers" link and I chose "annual subscription". Maybe the thing is, at first I tried to cancel the subscription in the hope of seeing the annual subscription option, but it was nowhere to be found.
Go to Solution. Usually, spotify will send an email to notify that your student subscription is about to end in a few days. However, just make sure you're signed into your own account after you click on the "Extend Discount" link. Follow instructions to verify that information. View solution in original post.
