Who Am I? Discovering Who You Are in Christ
But God gave him confidence to set his people free. In Lent we remember that God sent his Son to do his will and set all people free from the slavery of sin. That Son would later accept his role, faithfully following the path his Father had in mind for him to save us all. We often define our identity in terms of our roles in life, such as your family relationships or career choice. Identity is a major issue. It informs how we view ourselves and the world around us. Too often, unfortunately, we find our identity in things that are doomed to fail us. We will find true joy, peace, and fulfillment when we find our identity in Christ.
